Went to church, then went out and played. Mother made meat and potatoes. Went to church at night at 27th and Prospect.
*Meat and Potatoes
Chip cold roast beef or pork very fine, enough to make 2 cups. Add 1 minced onion, pepper, and salt. Add enough white sauce to moisten well. Pour all into buttered baking dish. Cover with potatoes mashed with a little cream. Put a bit of butter on top and bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) until potatoes brown on top.
